Indian sizing is not the same as American, European or Australian sizing, and this is the single thing most worth getting right before you order. A medium here is usually cut closer than a medium you are used to. Almost every listing carries the maker's own measurement chart, and comparing those numbers against a garment you already own is far more reliable than going by the letter on the label.
Fabric behaves differently too. Cotton, rayon and viscose blends made for Indian weather are lighter than their equivalents elsewhere, and handloom pieces carry small irregularities that come from being woven by a person rather than a machine. Those are not faults, though we understand it can be surprising the first time.

- Can I return something if the size is wrong?
- We are not able to accept returns for fit, and we would rather say so clearly before you order than surprise you afterwards. Sending a parcel back across an ocean costs more than most garments are worth. Please use the measurement chart on the listing, and write to us at [email protected] if you are unsure and we will help you read it. Damaged arrivals are a different matter and are always covered.
- Will the colour match the photograph?
- Close, but screens vary and so do dye lots, particularly on handloom and naturally dyed fabric. Small variation between the photograph and the piece you receive is normal for this kind of clothing.
- Will I be asked to pay customs or duties when it arrives?
- No. Shipping and duties are both settled at checkout, so the total you see there is the total you pay. Nothing is collected at your door.
- Which countries do you ship to?
- We ship from India to the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates and Australia. Your shipping options and the final total are shown at checkout once you enter your address.
- What if something arrives damaged?
- Send us photographs at [email protected] within seven days of delivery and we will make it right with a full refund or a free replacement, whichever you prefer. You do not need to ship the item back.
