Raksha Bandhan is the occasion people most often leave too late, because a rakhi is small and it feels like it should arrive quickly. It will not: a tracked parcel from India takes 10 to 15 business days regardless of how little it weighs, so ordering three to four weeks ahead is the difference between arriving on the day and arriving after it.
Rakhis are light and cheap to send, which makes this one of the few cases where adding a few more items barely changes the shipping. Sending a thali, sweets-safe dry gifting or a small piece of jewellery alongside usually costs less than sending two parcels later.

- Three to four weeks before. A rakhi weighs almost nothing, but transit time is the same 10 to 15 business days as anything else.
- Can you send sweets with it?
- No. Fresh sweets and mithai have too short a shelf life to survive export and we do not list them.
