Ayurvedic digestive preparations: triphala, hing, ajwain, jeera and the churnas kept as a matter of course.
Available in the United States. No customs at your door.
The staples here are simple and old. Triphala is a three-fruit powder taken as a mild regulator. Hing, or asafoetida, is a resin used in cooking specifically because it settles the stomach against lentils and legumes. Ajwain and jeera are carminative seeds, chewed or brewed. None of it is exotic in India and most of it is genuinely hard to buy fresh elsewhere.
Powders and whole seeds are the practical imports: light, stable and long-lived. Hing in particular is worth buying properly, because the compounded blocks sold cheaply abroad are often mostly wheat flour with very little resin.
Nothing here is a medicine and none of it is intended to treat a condition. Persistent digestive symptoms deserve a doctor rather than a churna, and if you are pregnant or taking prescription medication, several of these interact in ways worth asking about first.
