If the micropore tape is being repeatedly applied to an area, use an alcohol free barrier film with the surgical tape at each application to avoid irritation. As the micropore tape is applied, use enough pressure to get the adhesive into the "valleys" of the skin. This method of taping will also prevent moisture from loosening the micropore tape.
