NIOSH approved for environments containing certain oil and non-oil particles. Use with 5000 Series 3M Respirators or 6000 Series Cartridges with 3M 502 Adapter, 3M Facepieces 6000 Series or 3M Facepieces 7000 Series 7000 Series with Bayonet Filter Holders. Use in various applications when properly fitting, such as grinding, grinding and welding in concentrations up to 10 times permissible exposure limit (PEL) with half-faced or 50 times PEL with full faces. Full facets must be quanity-tested to get assigned protection factor above 10 in negative pressure mode. Do not use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH).

• All 3M particulate filters and gas cartridges/vapors can be used interchangeably with 3M 6000, 6500, 7000 and FF-400 reusable respirators.
