The built-in speed control allows you to adjust the fan speed to optimal sound and airflow levels in different environments. Unlike AC powered fans that suppress voltage to control the speed of the fan, this channel fan has an EC motor that is precisely controlled with PWM (remwidth modulation). This technology allows the fan motor to run smoothly at low speeds without generating noise and heat, as shown in variable voltage regulators. Eight speed options are available with switches and backup memory. This S12 model can be connected to AIRLIFT T12 to share the same programming and power source. Rugged Performance Features weatherproof and corrosion-resistant galvanised steel shutters and automatically closes when not in use. The blades and wheel are made of lightweight aluminium which is balanced to reduce vibration. Using an innovative EC motor electronically controlled with PWM (rem-width modulation), fans can maximize airflow while reducing noise and power consumption. The fully enclosed motor is also permanently lubricated and holds double ball bearings rated at 67,000 hours and allow for mounting this ventilation system horizontally or vertically. The device is IP-44 certified to be highly dust and liquid resistant and works well even in harsh environments.
