Our fused quartz cuvettes are fused together by molecular forces at ultrahigh temperature without the use of any kinds of adhesives. Acid, base, organic solvent-resistant. No leakage is found for these cuvettes containing hydrochloric acid, anhydrous ethanol, carbon tetrachloride, and benzene for at least 24 hours. Special attention needs to be made to chloroform, as the chloroform slowly etches the quartz surface by nature. The operating spectral range is 190-2500 nm for the maximum light transmittance and the operating temperature as high as 600°C / 1,112°F for these optical quartz materials. Our ultraviolet quartz cells are made in high precision only (i.e. dimensional errors within 0.015 mm). Non-reactive PTFE caps included for every purchase. The cuvettes can be easily washable by ultrasonic sonicators and perfect for repetitive uses on a long-term basis.
