The iCrimp MC4 Solar Crimping Tool Kit is designed for assembling and repairing MC4-compatible solar PV cable connectors. The kit includes an SN-2546B MC4 crimper, LA-2546B solar wire stripper, cable cutter, MC4 spanners, screwdrivers, MC4 connectors and a storage bag. It supports 14-10 AWG / 2.5, 4 and 6 mm² solar PV cable commonly used in solar panel wiring, RV solar systems, off-grid power setups and field installation work. The Wire EDM machined crimping jaws help form MC4 terminal crimps, while the stripper and cutter support cable preparation before assembly. For best results, select the matching PV cable size, strip the cable to the recommended length, place the MC4 metal terminal correctly in the jaw, and complete the full ratchet cycle before assembling the connector housing. Compatibility note: Designed for MC4-compatible solar connector terminals and copper PV cable within the stated wire range. Not recommended for HVAC connectors, coaxial connectors, battery lugs, steel wire or non-PV connector terminals.
