The base accepts any 5-inch hook and loop sanding disc so you can use your orbital sander abrasive disc or even use discs that are torn at the edge and cannot be used on a power sander. Now you do not have to keep separate sanding media for hand sanding and for power sanding. It is constructed from lightweight medium-hard nylon foam so you can apply pressure to any wood surface you are sanding without experiencing fatigue. The top of the pad includes 3 finger slots for extra grip and even control.
