The manual is written according to the MCI syllabus of practical biochemistry for the first year MBBS students. All practicals are based on standard methods which are easily reproducible. Complete details of practicals including preparation of reagents are given. Nineteen cases of clinico Biochemical History have been given for the benefit of the students. Clinical significance of each practical is adequately explained with answers. The manual can be used for observations, calculations and results, etc. and there is no need for a separate practical notebook. It aims at giving a good exposure of various aspects of biochemistry including the role of clinical biochemistry in patient care.
