Hydrocolloin: Primary or secondary lesion in mild to moderate exudate. Helps autolytic degradation to maintain a moist wound environment. Upon contact with wound exudation, it forms a liquid/gel environment above the wound bed. The dressing does not break down and leaves no residue in the wound. The thin and film back features a smooth, tapered design to minimize friction and prevent the bandage edges from curling. The thin hydrocolloid is semi-transparent, which makes wounds visible. Contains a semi-transparent layer that detects wounds without having to remove your discoloration. The moisture-resistant back prevents the penetration of urine, feces or moisture into clothing and thus reduces the risk of dirt.
