I have always been an avid reader of books of all genres. Over the past few years I find many people writing memoirs of their pet dogs. Pet dogs have hogged the limelight for centuries together but I have rarely come across any book written in memory of pet cats. From my experiences over the past decade I have found several similarities between pet dogs and indoor cats which are generally acknowledged only by ‘ailurophiles’ (cat lovers). To this day, whenever people hear about someone having a pet cat, the first reaction most of them give is “Oh, cats are selfish and cunning creatures!” If, after reading about our journey of life with Mini-Mini, some of those people can become more tolerant towards cats, I will consider myself to have succeeded in my first endeavor of writing a full-fledged book.
