The latest revised edition of New Enjoying Mathematics (NEM) incorporates the key recommendations as given in the NCF 2023 as well as the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The NCF Foundational Stage recommends the ELPS system for introducing mathematical concepts. NEM has followed the Experience-Language-Picture-Symbol sequence from its very first edition and continues to do so today. The NCF also suggests building strong numeracy and problem-solving skills through a sense of joy, curiosity, and wonder.
