It's been a while since we could get the poly fabric blend we need for this handy tape, but we scored and found it being made right here in the United States. This cleaning wipe tape is for 1/4" open reel tape decks that DO NOT have pressure pads. Cleans and polishes your heads and guides edge to edge in those hard to get places like the corners of the guides which you can not get with a cotton tipped applicator, and it's non-abrasive. Corner edges are very prone to dirt buildup which can score your tapes, cause them to shed, and ruin them. There's enough tape on the roll for 100 seconds @7.5IPS which is plenty of play time to clean your deck. Feel free to use a slower speed, and it can be used over and over until tape is dirty. The reel itself can be used for other purposes after the tape is used up. Simply put AC1CL6101 onto your deck and play it through like you would play a recording. Rewind, and store. If your deck is very dirty, add four drops of alcohol (not included) through the threading slot in the reel flange, and play. Do not drench the tape with fluid.! Allow reel to dry before packing away.
