This Fourth Edition is re-titled as Pharmaceutical Engineering - Unit Operations (the practical approach). The book was first introduced by us in 2001. The 2nd edition of pharmaceutical engineering was available in two volumes (I and II), in tune with the syllabi prescribed by several universities in two semesters and on the lines of syllabus prescribed by AICTE. The 3rd edition in 2019 and later this updated 4th edition in 2022, however, is framed as per the prescribed syllabus of the Pharmacy Council of India (vide no. 6, 7 and 8 of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) course regulations 2014.
