Magnets on the Fridge can be anything. A longing for a person, the itch to be in a time that we cannot be anymore, the madness to romanticize pain and feel it so deeply that it becomes a song stuck in a tape recorder, on a tea stall at the end of the street. It can be about the mountains and their birds and the bullets, about the men who dream and the cities that eventually turn unfamiliar. The sweaters and rocks and lilies knitted together over years, the deaths and the smile of a past mother. At the end it could be about you if love had ever brushed shoulders with you on a bus that you took to go nowhere and still ended up reaching home. This collection of poems tries to capture love and life in every form and dares to stay like a soiling photograph one forgets in a wallet.
