Calibrated to an accuracy of approx. 4% clockwise and approx. 6% counterclockwise, the 1/4 inch TEKTON two-way torque wrench (1.1 - 16.9 Nm · 10 - 150 in-lb) lets you work with certainty. You no longer have to guess and run the risk of tightening screws too tight. Only the exact tightening according to the torque specifications of the manufacturer guarantees the correct installation of workpieces without damaging them. Torque settings can be easily made in both directions without any problems. Simply turn the spring-loaded adjusting ring to the desired torque (in-lb or Nm) and fix your setting simply by releasing again. Always fix screws in a controlled and slow manner. When you have reached the desired torque, a reliable mechanism inside the handle produces an audible and noticeable click that warns you against exerting too much force. Designed for long-lasting performance, the mechanical design does not require batteries and also dispenses with vulnerable plastic parts. IMPORTANT: To get accurate calibration, the tool should always be stored in the lowest setting (10 in lb · 1.1 Nm).
