The distance between the WiFi controller and the router should be within 50 feet. The WiFi remote controller only supports 2.4GHz WiFi. The TC196 WiFi controller can be installed maximum 750 feet away from the gate/door opener. The power input of the WiFi controller is 9-24 VAC/DC, and the included 100-240VAC power adapter can be plugged directly into the home socket. The WiFi controller can also be powered by AC-DC power supply, battery or transformer. Once the controller is added by one user, the other users can only be shared by the primary account to get control access. One TC196 controller can be shared with up to 40 users, and up to 50 WiFi controllers can be added by one user.
