This wire splicing kit comes with 4 butt connectors and 4 x 3M transparent double wall heat shrink tubing, which are suitable for connecting pump wires 10, 12 or 14. The hose used in these kits has been specially designed for groundwater applications. The inner wall of a special thermoplastic adhesive melts and flows when heat is applied. The hose quickly shrinks to a skin tight fit, causing the melted adhesive to flow and cover the substrate. After cooling, the adhesive solidifies and forms a permanent, flexible, waterproof barrier. The transparent tube allows the added benefit of looking into the splice Ideal for splicing a submersible fountain pump and other waterproof applications. Instructions are included with the kit.
