Winsor and Newton Texture gels are suitable for any application in which highly unique surface textures are desired. Texture gels are granular paste gels containing additives to create special textured effects without affecting color stability or permanence. They are ideal for ""natural"" textures such as landscape paintings and craft applications. Winsor and Newton Large Grain Gel is a great way to add textured effect to artwork. When mixed with acrylic colour it forms a more pronounced textural grain effect than the Medium Grain Gel, providing more visible structure and effect to the colour. It may also be over-painted. Large Grain Gel has been formulated to ensure that the texture is evenly distributed. It can be applied with either by brush or knife.
