Wedding shopping is the one case where importing is almost always right. The pieces are specific to region and community, the workmanship has no American equivalent at a comparable price, and a US bridal boutique carrying Indian wear will typically be reselling the same Indian supply at a large markup.
It is also the case where you should allow the most time. Between delivery at 10 to 15 business days and the alterations that formal wear always needs, three months before the date is comfortable and six weeks is tight. Order the jewellery and accessories in the same window, since matching sets sell out as a season progresses.
One honest caution. We cannot accept returns because something does not fit, and on a garment at this price that matters more than usual. Measure carefully against the chart on the listing rather than trusting a size letter, and write to us if you are unsure. We would far rather spend ten minutes helping you read a chart than process a claim we cannot approve.

- How far ahead should I order for a wedding?
- Three months is comfortable, six weeks is tight. Delivery is 10 to 15 business days, and formal wear almost always needs local alterations after that.
- Can I return a lehenga if the fit is wrong?
- No. We accept returns for damage or defect only, because return freight across an ocean exceeds most garment values. Please use the measurement chart on the listing, and email [email protected] if you want help reading it.
- Is the jewellery real gold?
- Most of it is gold plated or sterling silver, and every listing says which. We describe plated pieces as plated rather than as gold.
